How to upload a picture?

First of all when you are making an order in starcanvas.com webpage you have to upload your own picture and follow the instructions bellow:

• click order button from the top of menu shield;
• click on the image with description Your pictures and upload photo from your personal computer pictures gallery. Your uploading photos history will be saved so you can see or take the same picture again.
• when uploading is done, simply click Continue button and you will be transfer to photos editting page. To edit pictures is easy and fun so you can create image as you like.
  

Picutres quality

Pictures edition page has a function which shows you information about image quality. You can zoom or reduce image to the perfect size for you. Please note that changing size of picture will affect photo on canvas quality so make sure that quality bar bellow your picture is showing you a good quality. System will inform you if your image is too low quality for printing. In this case you have to find another picture with better quality or change product format to the lower one. There is an exampe bellow about the quality settings.

Please note! You can order a large photo on canvas with the minimum image qualit.

Scale is showing image quality and you can see the difference by zooming or reducing an image.

Choose the best image quality to make a good looking picture on canvas. Make sure that loyout of image will match your needs and check for all small details at image sides, because zoom function will strech your photo. Better quality of image means better quality of picture on canvas so be careful before completing you order. Please look at the picture on canvas and images ratio to extract the best quality.

How to find out your picture quality?

Move a mouse pointer to the image file and right click for properties. Than choose second column for summary ( or details) and you will  see information about image size and resolution.

An advice:

• Upload pictures from your device because photos from social networks or other sources can affect quality.

• Please note that picture quality does not reflect expression. Carefully check that picture would not be blinded.

• Resolution may be lower for larger format canvas. The reason is that it is viewed from a distance, so important is the overall of a picture rather than small details.

The system will warn you when zooming reach low quality.  In case of warning about the lack of resolution you can:

• zoom out;

• upload another image;

• choose a different canvas size.
